Visualizing Leadership Theories

As I explored the many different ways that each of you manipulated the ideas presented about leadership theory, leaderships styles, and leadership traits,  I was struck by how different each of us is in our approach to understanding new ideas.    Some of us need to touch every part of the concept and then step back to understand how each part works together to understand the  whole.   Some of us need to approach the whole and then zoom in on a few key ideas.  Some of us  need to start with words that end up forming images in our mind, while others need to form images for the words to take root.

This made me want to see all your brains working at once like in a multi-screen display.
If you click on each of the smaller images it will open up to the larger version of your visualization.

As I  created this I was remembering seeing Temple Grandin speak at SxSw last year as she described how her brain thinks in pictures.     Each of us is so unique and assuming that one size fits all as we grow our leadership skills  is about as faulty as thinking that the way we lead will be the same for all whom we lead.  I hope that this learning activity helped you gain a deeper understanding of leadership and that it also added some new tools and processes to your digital toolbox.
